Hi,

I have a D-Flite tack box which I guess could almost qualify as an "antique"! It was bought in the '70s when I was very active in the show world and used every weekend until I left the dog show scene in the mid '80s. It then sat in the garage for almost 20 years, but when I got back into dogs last year I took it out, dusted it off and put it back to work.

It is as good as it ever was, and survived its years of neglect unscathed except for the handle! (You really do make an awesome product!)

I visited your website to see if I could purchase a new handle, but did not see any "spare parts" listed. Could you please advise me how I might get a new handle for my old friend?

Dear Friend,

I have a D-Flight Tack Box that I have had for many years. It is still in very good condition, but needs a new gasket around the top of it. I need to replace the hinges as well. I think I can probably find them, as they seem to be basic national type. I found the exact same one in gold color at lowes, but wouldn't you know they don't have them in zinc or nickle color. Please let me know if there is someone that I could contact to get them.

You are still making the exact same box.. This one I have is at least 20 years old. You just make them to last, because this one has been many a mile.
